Present: MA, TA, SK, FS, AL

  • Close out meeting after DRAGON HPGe run S1880
  • Hours delivered: 93hr. FS agrees with Ops. No major interruptions from beam delivery side
  • Took data on one energy, 1 data point
  • Received ~6e12 pps. Next run, we need to push for close to 1e13 pps
  • Miscommunication on DRAGON side about start on resonance
  • SK mentions that Keerthi suspects source condition to be the issue. Source hasn't been cleaned before start up
  • Should remember to schedule next S1880 shifts early in the year to start with clean source
  • SK to email Chris, Keerthi, Friedhelm regarding OLIS
  • For DRAGON, Ops should always monitor mass slit current. This should be a standard diagnostic. If Ops have that signal, it's less likely for DRAGON experimenters to forget to set gains properly.
  • Miscommunication: Request for buncher was unexpected as it was said it was not needed in beam delivery meeting. However, during experiment, it was requested, even though it was DC energy. Likely confusion as to whether this was resonant energy or not.
  • Run plan from PI was not communicated to Ops. Thus, resonant energy was never delivered
